Grab your family, rally your friends and shake off that winter cabin fever! The Central Park 5K welcomes every pace and ability—from speedy runners chasing a personal best to walkers who simply want some fresh air and good company.
Bringing a crew makes race day even better—and more affordable. Groups of five or more receive $5 off per person, and our referral rewards can put up to $20 back in your pocket when five friends register through your personal referral link.
So start a family team, invite the neighbors, gather your coworkers or bring the whole friend group. Get out of the house, move together and make some colorful springtime memories!

Shake off winter and welcome spring at the Central Park 5K! This flat, fast course is a great place to chase a goal, enjoy a relaxed run or walk, and celebrate the start of a new season.
After you cross the finish line, the fun keeps going at our Kite Station. Every registered participant can pick up a blank kite, use our colorful Sharpie markers to create a one-of-a-kind design, and then send it soaring over Central Park.
With acres of wide-open space and Denver’s famously brisk spring breezes, it’s the perfect setting to fill the sky with color. Make your kite bold, silly, inspirational or completely your own—then find some open grass and let it fly!
Come for the 5K. Stay to create something colorful. Leave with a kite, a great race-day memory and a little more spring in your step.

Central Park 5k
Is it spring—or does winter still have one last surprise waiting for us? There’s only one way to find out! Join us at the end of March for the Central Park 5K and celebrate the changing season with a run or walk through Denver’s Central Park neighborhood.
The flat, fast course welcomes participants of every pace and ability. Chase a new personal best, enjoy a comfortable walk with friends or bring the whole family out to shake off the winter cabin fever. After you finish, visit our Kite Station to decorate your own kite and send it soaring over Central Park’s wide-open fields!
